Metal Hawk (ASX:MHK) has restarted reverse circulation drilling at its 100% owned Leinster South Project in Western Australia.

The campaign directly follows up on previous high-grade gold intercepts, including 2.3m @ 15.3g/t Au from 28m and 3m @ 9.8g/t Au from 32m.

“We are very excited to be drilling again at Leinster South as we continue to unlock the potential of this fertile gold system,” said Metal Hawk Managing Director Will Belbin.

Additional drilling is planned for the Tysons prospect along a regional structure and granite-greenstone contact.

The company expects the ongoing drilling programme to test further shallow extensions across the Thylacine south zone.

Following the announcement, the Metal Hawk share price was unchanged at $0.066.

The Leinster South Project covers key gold targets in the Agnew-Lawlers region of Western Australia.

Metal Hawk continues to focus its exploration strategy on discovering high-grade gold deposits across its Australian regional project portfolio.
