  • Mesoblast posted a 44% revenue increase to US$28 million for the first quarter of fiscal year 2026.
  • The company share price fell 1.29% to $1.92 following the operational report.
  • Growth was driven by higher site adoption and new patient starts for its cell therapy product.

Cell therapy developer Mesoblast (ASX:MSB) reported a 44% increase in first-quarter net revenue from Ryoncil sales to US$28 million.

The quarterly revenue figure compares to US$19 million recorded in the prior year period.

"We see a strong year-on-year increase in net revenues and plan for continued growth by increasing penetration and adoption across the 54 onboarded sites," said Mesoblast CEO Dr Silviu Itescu.

Net operational cash spend improved by 85% to US2.3 million while total cash reserves reached US$99 million as of Sept. 30.

The company highlighted that September delivered the highest number of new patient starts per month following summer recess scheduling shifts.

Following the announcement, the Mesoblast share price was down at $1.92.

Ryoncil is an allogeneic cellular medicine designed to treat paediatric patients with steroid-refractory acute graft-versus-host disease.
