Mayne Pharma secures exclusive US distribution partnership
Mayne Pharma Group (ASX:MYX) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, DistributerRx, has secured its inaugural third-party commercial partnership through an exclusive agreement with Atlanta-based Resilia Pharmaceuticals.
Under the precise terms of the distribution deal, DistributerRx will utilise its streamlined digital prescription distribution platform to oversee the exclusive United States distribution of RECEDO topical gel.
RECEDO is currently recognised as one of the most widely recommended, prescription-grade scar management and wound healing agents in the American healthcare market, specifically indicated for treating old and new hypertrophic or keloid scarring resulting from burns, general surgical procedures, and trauma wounds.
In exchange for leveraging the unique and scalable infrastructure, DistributerRx is set to receive a structured fixed fee for each prescription filled, delivering a highly cost-effective outcome for the product, prescribers, and patients.
The alliance represents a pivotal step in Resilia’s overarching corporate strategy to expand RECEDO’s adoption among specialist healthcare prescribers across the country.
Commercial expansion plans will intensely target high-demand medical sectors, particularly specialists within plastic surgery—including those performing complex Mohs surgery procedures—and OB/GYN practices focusing on post-Caesarean section recovery treatments.
By combining Mayne Pharma’s digital infrastructure with Resilia’s proven therapeutic profile, the partnership addresses historic market shortfalls in advanced scar care.
Executives from both companies expressed strong confidence that this mutually beneficial relationship will accelerate commercial reach.
At the time of reporting, Mayne Pharma’s share price was $2.36.
