Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) completed its 6,573-metre Phase 3 drilling campaign at the Weebo Gold Project in Western Australia.

This latest exploration phase built on initial geological anomalies identified during the previous Phase 1 and Phase 2 programmes.

The company stated that laboratory assay results are expected to return steadily between July and September.

While the programme advanced three prospects, following the announcement, the Magmatic Resources share price was unchanged at $0.034.

The Weebo asset covers 270km2 within the Eastern Goldfields region near existing multi-million-ounce mining operations.

Magmatic also maintains exploration joint ventures elsewhere, including copper-gold porphyry targeting at its Myall Project with Fortescue (ASX:FMG).
