Magmatic Resources commences Phase 3 drilling at Weebo Project

Share

Magmatic Resources (ASX:MAG) commenced its Phase 3 drilling programme at the Weebo Gold Project, located in the highly prospective Eastern Goldfields of Western Australia.

The campaign comprises a total of 6,745m of drilling, designed to aggressively build upon the data collected during the company's Phase 1 and Phase 2 programmes.

The exploration strategy features a dual-rig approach. Reverse circulation drilling has newly commenced on-site, alongside ongoing aircore drilling operations.

The Phase 3 programme allocates 1,745m to RC drilling as a crucial "next step" to advance key bedrock targets.

The portion of the campaign will specifically target bedrock mineralisation at Ockerburry 1 and 3, test lateral and down-dip mineralisation at Scone Stone, investigate significant intercepts at Otto 2 under Permian glacial cover, and test high-priority gold shoots at Sholl’s Find.

5,000m of AC drilling is underway to test the extensions of known gold anomalies.

The extensive AC programme will focus heavily on advancing the Wheel of Fortune 1, Wheel of Fortune 4, and West Gold prospects to make them RC drill-ready.

By executing this systematic, multi-phase exploration programme, Magmatic Resources aims to uncover the full economic potential of the Weebo Project's bedrock targets and expand its footprint in a premier gold-producing region.
