  • Management plans to improve profit margins following net sales of $41.4 million in FY26.

Maggie Beer Holdings (ASX:MBH) ended the strategic review of its subsidiary Hampers and Gifts Australia and decided against selling the business.

The board determined that multiple third-party buyout proposals did not adequately capture the long-term value of the gifting unit.

The business generated $41.4 million in net sales during FY26, though its earnings margin faced compression down to 2.5%.

Following the appointment of executive Chris Illman, management outlined a new operational strategy to expand profit margins for the retained unit.

The group plans to release additional details regarding its growth plans for FY27 and beyond over the coming months.

Following the announcement the Maggie Beer Holdings share price was unchanged at $0.059.

The strategic review was initially launched following market updates provided by the company across February, June, and July 2026.

Moving forward, the business plans to focus on balance sheet strength, growth in core food products, and sustainable shareholder value.
