
Macmahon to acquire Aspect Engineering for $75M
- Macmahon agreed to buy 100% of Aspect Engineering Solutions for an enterprise value of $75 million.

Macmahon (ASX:MAH) has executed a share purchase agreement to acquire 100% of Aspect Engineering Solutions for an enterprise value of $75 million.
In FY26 Aspect generated approximately $75 million of revenue and $15 million while employing more than 295 direct workers.
Managing Director and CEO Micheal Finnegan stated, “Aspect brings a high-quality engineering and project delivery capability that is highly complementary to our existing surface mining, underground mining and civil infrastructure businesses."
The consideration includes $30 million cash upfront, $30 million in retention payments over five years, and performance payments up to $30 million.
Macmahon stated that the acquisition is expected to yield an indicative underlying earnings per share accretion of approximately 6.2%.
The deal directly supports the group's FY27–FY31 strategy to accelerate engineering and mineral processing capabilities.
Following the announcement the Macmahon share price was unchanged at $0.99.
The transaction adds front-end engineering, project delivery, and operations capabilities to Macmahon's existing surface and underground mining businesses.
