Lunnon Metals (ASX:LM8) has reported strong results from reverse circulation drilling at its Paringa West prospect, part of the company's Foster-Baker Project in the St Ives/Kambalda region.
The recent drilling confirmed the prospectivity of the tenements, with intercepts including 8m at 5.52 g/t gold from 65m and 6m at 1.49 g/t gold from 54m.
These results support a revised geological interpretation suggesting a gently northwest-dipping mineralised structure, contrasting the previously assumed north-south trend.
Three RC holes were drilled 80m apart to test this model, with two returning significant gold mineralisation at the target depth.
The interpreted host rock is Upper Paringa Basalt, the same unit that hosts the nearby 1Moz+ Hamlet-Athena complex, highlighting the potential for additional discoveries.
