  • Lumos Diagnostics secured a network-wide FebriDx rollout across more than 30 US urgent care locations.
  • The company's share price rose 25% following the market announcement.
  • Lumos Diagnostics is targeting the top 100 US urgent care networks to achieve scaled commercial adoption.

Lumos Diagnostics (ASX:LDX) secured a FebriDx rollout across 30 US urgent care sites handling 200,000 annual patient visits.

Three additional major urgent care groups representing 230 sites are currently running clinical and economic validation trials.

"The expedited pace at which this regional urgent care group moved from discussions through to adoption was an encouraging sign of growing clinical confidence in the FebriDx test," said Lumos Diagnostics CEO Doug Ward.

The company estimated that these four accounts represent 430 potential sites and 2.6 million annual acute respiratory infection presentations.

Lumos Diagnostics expects successful site trials to drive network-wide adoption, and following the announcement, the Lumos Diagnostics share price was up at $0.105.

Lumos Diagnostics tracks commercial account progression through a four-stage framework ending in standardised triage adoption and repeat ordering.

The strategy mirrors the company's prior expansion with WellStreet Urgent Care, which grew from a pilot into 44 locations.
