  • LTR Pharma completed its final Phase 2 trial, showing sixfold faster drug absorption than traditional tablets.
  • The final data supports planned regulatory filings with the U.S. FDA in the second half of 2026.
  • The study measured a median 10-minute absorption time and confirmed no drug accumulation over five days.

LTR Pharma (ASX:LTP) completed its final Phase 2 clinical report, confirming that its nasal spray achieved peak blood concentration in 10 minutes compared to 60 minutes for oral tablets.

The final pharmacokinetic dataset validates interim results from May 2026 and provides the complete statistical analysis required for U.S. regulatory discussions.

"A median time to peak concentration of 10 minutes at a quarter of the oral dose, with no accumulation on repeat dosing and comparable pharmacokinetics in men aged 65 and over, gives us a complete, well-characterised pharmacokinetic picture," said LTR Pharma Chief Medical Officer, Professor Geoffrey Strange

The trial showed lower metabolite exposure than oral tablets, zero serious adverse events, and consistent results across participants aged 65 and older.

The company plans to move into submission-enabling activities in late 2026, aiming to complete its pivotal Phase 3 study in early 2027.

Following the announcement, the LTR Pharma share price was unchanged at $0.48.

LTR Pharma focuses on developing nasal spray treatments to improve drug absorption speeds over traditional oral options.
