Lion Selection Group invests $2M in Arika Resources

·     Lion Selection Group (ASX:LSX) committed $6.5 million to capital raising by Arika Resources (ASX:ARI).

·       The transaction secures a 6.7% stake for the company while its share price remained unchanged at $0.85.

·       The capital will fund an expanded drilling programme across gold exploration assets in Western Australia.

Lion Selection Group (ASX:LSX) has committed $2 million to acquire a 6.7% stake in Arika Resources (ASX:ARI).

The investment forms part of a broader $6.5 million placement undertaken by Arika to accelerate gold exploration.

“Arika has two highly coveted exploration projects in the heart of one of Western Australia’s gold producing districts,” said Lion Selection Group Managing Director Hedley Widdup.

Arika stated that the placement was priced at 1.9 cents per share to fund drilling at its Kookynie and Yundamindra projects.

Following the announcement, the Lion Selection Group share price was unchanged at $0.85.

Lion Selection Group is a Melbourne-based investment company specialising in junior mining and resource growth projects.
