Lake Resources enters final Kachi Project approval stage

Lake Resources (ASX:LKE) has started its 28-day public consultation phase for the Kachi Project on Aug. 3.

The stage follows the completion of technical evaluations by the Catamarca Ministry of Mining.

"We welcome the formal opening of this public consultation phase," said Lake Resources CEO David Dickson.

The company expects consultation to close on Aug. 31, preceding a permit decision targeted by Sept. 30.

Following the announcement, the Lake Resources share price was up at $0.041.

The company utilises direct lithium extraction technology developed alongside partner Lilac Solutions to process brine.

Lake Resources recently raised $10.5 million.
