Mineral exploration company Kuniko (ASX:KNI) has completed its Phase 2 drilling campaign at the Commonwealth-Silica Hill Project in New South Wales.

The programme targeted potential mineralisation extensions at depth and along strike at the site.

"The programme has significantly advanced our understanding of the mineralised system, with assays expected in October and planned DHEM surveys to provide further insight into potential extensions," stated Managing Director Maja McGuire.

Assay results from the latest drilling holes are expected in October.

Following the announcement, the Kuniko share price was unchanged at $0.27.

The exploration work focused on the project's northern and southern lodes to expand the known resource area.

The company also confirmed that work is progressing on additional district-scale drill targets while preparing an updated mineral resource estimate for the fourth quarter of 2026.
