Kalgoorlie Gold Mining (ASX:KAL) has recommenced reverse circulation drilling at the Lighthorse prospect within its Pinjin Gold Project.

The new programme builds on first-pass aircore drilling that systematically tests targets across the LTZ Flexure area.

Exploration aims to detect near-surface gold mineralisation to outline potential targets for future reverse circulation drilling.

Meanwhile, assay results from earlier drilling at Kirgella Gift and Providence remain pending due to laboratory delays.

Kalgoorlie Gold Mining stated that these ongoing programmes will help evaluate the broader scale of its tenement area.

Following the announcement, the Kalgoorlie Gold Mining share price was unchanged at $0.28.

Pinjin forms part of the company's broader gold exploration strategy across Western Australia's Eastern Goldfields region.
