Jupiter Energy (ASX:JPR) announced the completion of its strategic gas utilisation infrastructure project at the West Zhetybai oilfield.
The newly commissioned pipeline enables the West Zhetybai oilfield to integrate with neighbouring gas utilisation facilities, ensuring 100% utilisation of associated gas.
With this completion, all three of Jupiter’s oilfields—Akkar North (East Block), Akkar East, and West Zhetybai—are now connected to regional gas infrastructure.
The first sale of associated gas from West Zhetybai has been made to neighbouring producer MangistauMunaiGas.
Integration of the Akkar North and Akkar East oilfields was completed in the fourth quarter of 2024.
Jupiter said the project provides assurance that all associated gas produced during full-field drilling programs can now be managed and sold in a fully approved manner, supporting long-term production under the company's commercial licences.
The initiative also strengthens Jupiter's relationships with MMG and the Kazakh Ministry of Energy—key partnerships for the company’s ongoing operations.
