Infragreen Group (ASX:IFN) has commenced a comprehensive strategic review, aimed at addressing a disconnect between the company's market valuation and its underlying operational performance.

The decision, sanctioned by the board of directors, follows a period of sustained downward pressure on the company’s stock.

While Infragreen enjoyed a buoyant post-IPO period—trading as high as $1.30, representing a 30% premium to its listing price—the board contends that current trading levels now fundamentally undervalue the business.

Chairman Lindsay Ward will spearhead the review, supported by senior management and a suite of external specialists.

The mandate is broad, covering potential transactions and capital management initiatives designed to "unlock additional shareholder value".

Despite the current market volatility, Ward remains optimistic, citing solid earnings growth in the first half of FY26 and a robust pipeline of acquisitions currently undergoing due diligence.

He noted that the business continues to benefit from long-term sector tailwinds and immediate catalysts that could facilitate future earnings outperformance.

To facilitate the process, the board has appointed Talbot Sayer as legal adviser, with a financial adviser expected to be named imminently.

While the board have emphasised that there is no certainty the review will result in a specific transaction, they remain open to all avenues to benefit investors.

At the time of reporting, Infragreen Group’s share price was $0.36.
