Infini Resources (ASX:I88) secured essential exploration permits from the Saskatchewan Ministry of Energy and Resources, green-lighting its maiden diamond drilling campaign at the Reynolds Lake and Reitenbach Lake uranium projects.

The regulatory approval clears the final hurdle for the company to begin testing high-priority targets within the world-class Athabasca Basin.

Mobilisation of contractors is slated for late April, with drilling operations expected to commence shortly thereafter.

The upcoming programme comprises a minimum 2,500-metre diamond drilling effort designed to investigate a suite of electromagnetic conductors, magnetic features, and geochemical anomalies.

The targets are primarily situated around the Titus prospect on the eastern margins of the basin, an area that remains remarkably underexplored despite its proximity to prolific uranium systems.

Exploration will focus on an expansive 15km x 3km corridor, following up on 2025 surface results that yielded high-grade rock chip samples assaying up to 1.90% U₃O₈.

The combined project area spans a massive 766km2, across 22 mineral claims.

To execute this de-risking phase, Infini has appointed Rodren Drilling and Archer Cathro & Associates for geological services.

At the time of reporting, Infini Resources’ share price was $0.22.
