  • A follicular lymphoma patient in Imugene's Phase 1b clinical trial achieved a complete response after failing prior therapies.
  • The company's stock rose 13.13% following the clinical data announcement.
  • The trial aims to evaluate whether the combination treatment can enhance therapeutic activity in a US$12 billion global market.

Imugene (ASX:IMU) announced that the first patient in its azer-cel Phase 1b trial cohort achieved a complete response.

This development follows the global Bruton tyrosine kinase inhibitor market reaching approximately US$12 billion in 2025.

The treated follicular lymphoma patient achieved the complete response at the Day 28 assessment after failing prior treatments.

Patient enrolment for the ongoing clinical study is currently active across ten United States and five Australian sites.

Following the announcement, the Imugene share price was up at $0.112.

The company stated that the evaluation investigates whether concurrent dosing of azer-cel can restore therapeutic activity.

Follicular lymphoma is the most common indolent B-cell lymphoma and remains a high unmet medical need.
