
Immutep secures USPTO patent for cancer treatment anew

Immutep (ASX:IMM) has secured United States patent number 12,673,088 for its cancer immunotherapy combination treatments.
This new intellectual property follows previous related patent grants issued in December 2020, March 2021, and June 2023.
"This expanded IP estate supports future development pathways and business development opportunities," said Immutep CEO Marc Voigt.
The newly granted patent is scheduled to expire on Jan. 20, 2036.
Following the announcement the Immutep share price was down at $0.055.
The company previously discontinued its Phase III TACTI-004 lung cancer trial in March after an interim futility analysis.
The business reported holding cash and term deposits of approximately $110.6 million at the end of March.
