Immuron (ASX:IMC) announced a leadership transition, following the resignation of Phillip Hains as CFO and company secretary.

Hains, who has been with the company since 2013, concludes his tenure effective Feb. 9, with the board expressing gratitude for his decade-plus of service.

In his stead, the company has split the dual responsibilities between two new appointees: Olga Smejkalova joins as company secretary, taking over ASX communications and corporate governance, while Aaron Laurita steps in as the new CFO.

The strategic appointments aim to bolster Immuron's financial and compliance expertise as the company moves into its next chapter.

At the time of reporting, Immuron's share price was $0.030.
