IMEXHS deploys AI radiology tech across Mexico
Australian-listed medical technology company IMEXHS (ASX:IME) has secured a major public tender contract to deploy its advanced Aquila+ imaging platform across 20 hospitals and clinics in Zacatecas, Mexico.
The deal, achieved in partnership with local distributor GOBA, marks a significant milestone in the company’s international expansion strategy and highlights its growing competitiveness in public sector procurement.
The contract is set to deliver an immediate financial boost to IMEXHS, contributing approximately $384,000 in new annual recurring revenue, alongside a one-off implementation fee of $50,000.
The deployment stands out as one of the most comprehensive AI-integrated radiology projects undertaken globally.
It will integrate five of IMEXHS’s proprietary AI workflow agents directly into the Aquila+ platform.
The software will feature two specialised AI diagnostic tools from partner Gleamer: ChestView and Fracture Detection.
The combination of automated workflow management and diagnostic AI aims to streamline operations and enhance clinical accuracy across the region's public healthcare network.
Implementation of the network-wide software upgrade has already commenced. The rollout is scheduled for completion across all 20 clinical sites by the end of June.
Following the initial transition period, the company expects the contract to reach its full ARR run rate from September.
At the time of reporting, IMEXHS’ share price was $0.38.
