IMEXHS (ASX:IME) announced the appointment of Fabio Carrillo as its incoming CFO, effective Aug. 1.

Carrillo succeeds Reena Minhas following her resignation to pursue a new corporate opportunity.

To facilitate a seamless executive transition, Carrillo will commence onboarding with the firm at the beginning of June, working alongside Minhas, who remains until the end of July to deliver an orderly handover.

The board has initiated a recruitment process to secure a qualified replacement for the vacant company secretary position.

Bringing upwards of 20 years of public practice experience in comprehensive taxation and strategic business advisory services, Carrillo will also maintain his established role as a director at Crofts CA.

Born in Bogotá, Colombia, his distinct cultural affinity, native language skills, and familiarity with both Australian and Latin American commercial markets are expected to bolster IMEXHS’s global market relations and client base.

Moving forward, he will be supported by an expanded finance division in Colombia as well as external support from Crofts CA.

IMEXHS CEO and Managing Director Dr German Arango expressed sincere gratitude to Minhas for her professionalism and leadership since October 2020, crediting her with strengthening corporate governance and compliance standards.
