icetana and SoftBank launch US distribution partnership

Share

Australian security software developer icetana (ASX:ICE) secured a major expansion of its global commercial footprint, signing a pivotal distribution agreement with SoftBank Robotics America.

The newly executed deal extends the company’s strategic partnership into the Americas, granting icetana direct access to one of the largest and most lucrative security technology markets in the world through SoftBank’s established global sales network.

Specialising in self-learning artificial intelligence software tailored for security operations centres and large-scale video surveillance networks, the Perth-based firm views this expansion as a crucial validation of its technological viability.

The agreement marks the fifth regional distribution territory finalised under the broader SoftBank Robotics Group umbrella.

It follows previous successful commercial rollouts across Japan, Australia, New Zealand, the wider Asia-Pacific region, and the Middle East, including the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia.

Coinciding with the exact one-year anniversary of the initial June 2025 partnership between the two technology firms, this latest milestone underscores a shared commitment to commercialising next-generation automated surveillance software globally.

Company executives highlighted that the partnership not only enhances their market penetration across the Americas but also solidifies their ongoing collaboration with SoftBank Robotics Group.
