- Following the exploration update, the company's stock price remained unchanged at $0.07.
- The drilling aims to test continuity of high-grade mineralised structures to optimise future exploration targets.
Iceni Gold (ASX:ICL) commenced a diamond drilling programme with a 350m deep angled hole at its priority Goose Well target.
The exploration campaign follows a previous reverse circulation drilling programme completed at the Western Australian project in April.
The single hole will test the continuity of interpreted flat-lying, high-grade mineralised structures and provide critical targeting data.
The company stated that the programme also aims to test the north-south trending Gander Fault and associated structures.
The exploration programme is scheduled for completion in June, with laboratory assay results expected to arrive in July.
Following the announcement, the Iceni Gold share price was unchanged at $0.07.
The target sits within the flagship 14 Mile Well Gold Project between Leonora and Laverton.
