hummgroup appoints Rajeev Dhawan as chair-elect

hummgroup (ASX:HUM) appointed former director Rajeev Dhawan as chair-elect ahead of its annual general meeting.

The board appointment brings back an executive who previously spent over 15 years with the financial services firm.

“Following a period in which the Group has navigated a number of external matters, our focus is firmly on the opportunities ahead," said hummgroup Chair-Elect Rajeev Dhawan.

Subject to shareholder re-election at the meeting, Dhawan will officially assume the position on 20 November 2026.

Following the announcement, the hummgroup share price was unchanged at $0.39.

Dhawan rejoined the company's board in May after previously serving as a director from December 2006 to June 2022.

The company stated that Dhawan currently serves as a partner at the private equity firm Equity Partners.
