How Vitol Won Exclusive Fuel Deals to Dominate Africa

Exclusive agreements to supply fuel to at least five countries have put Vitol Group, the world's largest commodity trader, in an unusually powerful position as the dominant supplier to southern and East Africa a region that relies almost entirely on imports of fuel to keep cars, trucks, tractors and boats running.
