
HiTech appoints Nicole Walker as dual CFO and COO
- HiTech Group Australia appointed Nicole Walker as Group CFO and COO, effective Oct. 5.
- The executive appointment follows the company's recent completion of its asset acquisition of Hudson Global Resources (Aust).
- Walker will focus on financial management and operational integration to position the combined business for its next growth phase.
HiTech Group Australia (ASX:HIT) has appointed Nicole Walker as Group CFO and COO following its completed acquisition of selected assets from Hudson Global Resources (Aust) on Sept. 11.
The corporate move comes after the company completed the asset deal to expand its operational footprint and scale across the Australian market.
"Nicole’s appointment gives HiTech the financial and operational leadership to bring the two businesses together as one platform," said HiTech Group CEO Elias Hazouri.
Walker previously led the advisory engagement for the Hudson transaction while serving as a partner at Tenet Advisory & Investments and brings prior investment banking experience from Macquarie Capital and Goldman Sachs.
The company stated that Walker will report directly to CEO Elias Hazouri to drive integration efforts and group growth.
Following the announcement, the HiTech Group Australia share price was down at $1.02.
HiTech Group Australia operates as a specialist provider of recruitment and professional services to Australian government agencies and private sector clients.
The company recently completed a $4 million share placement to institutional and professional investors to support balance sheet flexibility and fund integration requirements.
