Hazer Group and Hallett partner for green construction
Clean technology developer Hazer Group (ASX:HZR) has forged a binding memorandum of understanding with Hallett Group.
The collaboration will focus on product development and potential commercial offtake arrangements for Hazer's unique low-emissions synthetic graphite.
The agreement directly supports Hallett, South Australia's largest integrated supplier of construction materials, in utilising Hazer Graphite to manufacture low-carbon concrete and advanced building materials.
The partnership significantly strengthens Hazer's footprint in the region, building on previous validation from Boral Labs confirming that its graphite meets strict Australian infrastructure standards.
Backed by ongoing engagement with the South Australian Government, the initiative integrates into broader regional green projects, including Hallett's ambitious $200 million Green Cement Transformation Project in Port Augusta and Hazer's potential alignment with the Whyalla steelworks.
Hazer CEO Glenn Corrie highlighted Hallett's established market position and shared commitment to industrial decarbonisation as factors making them an ideal partner to unlock new commercial pathways.
Hallett CEO Kane Salisbury emphasised that integrating Hazer's graphite will help satisfy the rapidly growing regional demand for environmentally sustainable building alternatives.
