Harvest Technology Group (ASX:HTG) announced the appointment of Veronica Bainton as CEO, effective June 1, to spearhead the company’s crucial next phase of its global defence-focused strategy.

Bainton joins the remote operations technology developer with more than 15 years of extensive executive experience spanning highly regulated, mission-critical sectors, including defence, aerospace, and national security.

Her professional career includes prominent leadership roles such as Director of Governance and Industry Engagement at Optus Satellite and Space Systems, where she successfully led commercial and governance operations for the Australian Defence Force's critical JP9102 sovereign satellite communications programme.

Her deep corporate background also encompasses senior contracts and compliance positions at major global defence prime contractor Raytheon Australia and Newcrest Mining, alongside influential industry appointments as deputy chair of the Space Industry Association of Australia and chair of the NSW Space Research Network.

The high-profile appointment aligns perfectly with Harvest's recent completion of its Defence Strategy Review and the independent third-party technical validation of its proprietary Nodestream platform.

The key technology is poised for rapid, scaled adoption across international defence, national security, and allied government markets, targeting strategic prime contractor partnerships within North America, Europe, and the Asia-Pacific region.

At the time of reporting, Harvest Technology Group’s share price was $0.019.
