Haranga Resources hits gold extensions at Lincoln Project
Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) announced high-grade gold repetitions and depth extensions at its flagship Lincoln Gold Project.
The company recently finalised a 3,250-metre HQ underground diamond drilling campaign focused on the Lincoln-Comet zone, yielding results that reinforce the project’s high-grade profile.
Standout intercepts included 4.8m at 25.40 grammes per tonne of gold from 36.4m, and a remarkable 2.4-metre hit grading 48.84 g/t of gold from 37.7m.
Additional surface intercepts, including 2.6m at 31.2 g/t gold, further highlight the density of the mineralised system.
Deep-tier drilling via holes DDH0280 and DDH0281 has confirmed that the mineralised quartz lode and shear-zone structures remain open at depth, extending more than 150m below the current decline.
The discovery provides a clear vector for higher-grade repetition lodes, suggesting substantial long-term growth potential beyond the current mine plan.
These findings pave the way for an imminent maiden JORC-compliant mineral resource estimate, expected by mid-May.
The update will look to convert the existing 2015 foreign estimate—currently sitting at approximately 286,000 ounces of gold—into the modern JORC framework.
While awaiting final assays from four remaining holes, Haranga is modernising site infrastructure, including the installation of a new mobile power centre.
At the time of reporting, Haranga Resources’ share price was $0.14.
