Haranga Resources (ASX:HAR) appointed Patrick Mutz as Managing Director and CEO, effective Sept. 1, to lead exploration efforts at its flagship Lincoln Gold Project.
The executive transition comes as the company advances its core asset, which holds a maiden JORC Resource of 2.46 million tonnes at 5.1 grammes per tonne of gold for 402,000 ounces.
Chairman Michael Davy commented, “We conducted a thorough search, and what set Patrick apart was his track record across the full development cycle — building mines through to production on multiple occasions, while also growing the underlying resource base along the way.”
The Lincoln Gold Project benefits from $90 million of prior capital investment, including a processing plant, an 880-metre underground decline, and 900 metres of development drives.
The company stated that surface and underground diamond drilling is planned at the site within the next two years.
Following the announcement, the Haranga Resources share price was unchanged at $0.078.
The business continues to focus on growing its mineral rights across the Mother Lode Belt to expand its total gold inventory.
