Hansen Technologies (ASX:HSN) entered into a strategic partnership with ERTH Holdings to deploy advanced Customer Information System solutions throughout Canada.

The collaboration arrives at a critical juncture for the industry, as utilities and municipalities face mounting pressure to modernise ageing infrastructure and meet the rising digital expectations of modern consumers.

Under the terms of the agreement, ERTH will act as the exclusive Canadian reseller and implementation lead for Hansen’s suite of products.

Central to this offering is the Hansen AI Virtual Agent, a tool designed to integrate seamlessly with existing utility frameworks to drive automation and enhance the user experience.

By leveraging Hansen’s 30-year legacy in complex billing and regulatory compliance, the partnership provides a modular, "future-ready" architecture that allows providers to scale operations at their own pace without sacrificing operational control.

Todd Ross, Director of Client Relations at ERTH, noted that the selection of Hansen followed an intensive multi-year evaluation, citing the platform’s open architecture as a primary factor for long-term innovation.

Bobby Slaton, EVP of Americas Energy & Utilities at Hansen, emphasised that the alliance combines global software prowess with ERTH’s deep local expertise.
