Greenvale Energy (ASX:GRV) has defined a north-south trending target spanning 9km in strike length and up to 400m in width at the Powers Prospect.
Ground-based field measurements verified previous airborne radiometric data by detecting radiation levels three to four times higher than background readings.
The company stated that the findings support the interpretation of potential calcrete-hosted mineralisation at the top of a paleochannel system.
Permitting and approval work is currently underway to prepare the site for planned future drill testing.

The company stated that paleochannel-style deposits represent the world's largest source of economically mined uranium.
