Greenvale Energy (ASX:GRV) commenced a 950 line-kilometre airborne electromagnetic survey across exploration licence 34157 at its Thunderball Uranium Project in the Northern Territory.
The co-funded exploration programme uses the SkyTEM system to gather higher resolution data than previous regional radiometric surveys.
"This latest survey represents another important step in systematically assessing the uranium potential at Thunderball and positioning Greenvale for an expanded drilling campaign in 2027 to unlock the next generation of significant uranium discoveries in the NT," said Greenvale Energy Managing Director Alex Cheeseman.
The survey receives financial support from the Northern Territory Government through the Round 19 Geophysics and Drilling Collaboration Grant scheme.
Fieldwork is scheduled to finish in mid-November, with survey results expected by early January 2027.
Following the announcement, the Greenvale Energy share price was up at $0.021.
The company stated that survey data will directly inform the layout of planned 2027 drilling programmes.
Greenvale Energy is currently progressing regulatory approvals and environmental permitting required for the next field season.
