Great Divide Mining (ASX:GDM) reported operational progress at its Challenger mine for the quarter ended Sept. 30, producing 191.3 wet metric tonnes of gold concentrate.

Monthly output rose from 62.1 wet metric tonnes in July to 81.1 wet metric tonnes in September despite a temporary slowdown in August due to scheduled maintenance and upgrades.

The process plant recorded feed rates of 20 to 24 tonnes per hour during September, while quarterly concentrate shipments totalled 195.8 tonnes at an average grade of 43.1 grammes per tonne.

The operational ramp-up allowed concentrate sales to increase from two shipments per month in the previous quarter to three shipments per month during the period.

Following the announcement, the Great Divide Mining share price was unchanged at $0.28.

The junior miner continues to focus on optimising processing plant throughput and maintaining consistent gold concentrate deliveries from its Challenger operations.
