Golden Globe Resources (ASX:GGR) has commenced its Phase 2 diamond drilling programme at the Dooloo Creek Project in Queensland after previous assays returned up to 6.5 grammes per tonne of gold.
The current campaign follows the initial phase of drilling announced in May, which confirmed multi-stage breccia and skarn mineralisation at the project site.
The newly commenced diamond drill hole, designated EB002, is planned to test the interpreted deeper sections of the large-scale breccia system at the Eastern Breccia prospect.
A second drill hole is also planned at the Northern Gold prospect to test high-grade skarn mineralisation where previous drilling intersected up to 2.74% copper.
Following the announcement, the Golden Globe Resources share price was unchanged at $0.18.
The Dooloo Creek asset is the flagship exploration property for the company, which listed on the Australian Securities Exchange in late 2025.
In addition to its Queensland assets, the company holds prospective copper and gold exploration permits within the Lachlan Fold Belt in New South Wales.
