Gateway Mining (ASX:GML) deployed a second reverse circulation drilling rig to advance exploration at the Cowza gold discovery within the Yandal Gold Project.

Recent drilling identified continuous high-grade gold mineralisation over a strike length of approximately 3.5km.

The exploration programme will systematically test beneath extensive aircore gold mineralisation to assess the scale potential of fresh rock.

The company stated that additional assay results remain pending for approximately 1km of drilling north of the defined mineralised footprint.

Following the announcement, the Gateway Mining share price was up at $0.054.

The company reported holding $5.6 million in liquid ASX securities at the end of the March quarter.
