G50 secures $26.3M to fund exploration

·     G50 raised $26.3 million via a single tranche institutional placement at $0.595 per share.

·       The stock remained unchanged at $0.66 following the capital raising announcement.

·       The company stated the funds will accelerate exploration at its Golconda and White Caps projects.

G50 (ASX:G50) secured $26.3 million through a single tranche institutional placement to fund exploration.

The placement price of $0.595 per share represented a 9.8% discount to the last close.

"We are grateful for the strong backing," said G50 Managing Director Mark Wallace.

Hancock Prospecting committed $7.95 million to secure a 5.4% stake in the business.

Following the announcement, the G50 share price was unchanged at $0.56.

The company stated that the funds will accelerate exploration across its Arizona and Nevada projects.

Bell Potter Securities and Morgans Corporate acted as joint lead managers for the transaction.
