Freelancer (ASX:FLN) reported that group gross marketplace value increased 30.9% to $574.6 million during the first half of FY26.

Group revenue fell 12.1% to 20.9 million.

"The Freelancer marketplace had a hard half, and the causes are not mysterious," said Freelancer chief executive officer and chair Matt Barrie.

The company stated that a net loss after tax of $2.4 million non-cash impairment of non-core digital assets.

Following the announcement, the Freelancer share price was unchanged at $0.10.

Escrow.com GMV climbed 39% to $14.6 million.

Management previously completed seven consecutive profitable years at Escrow.com and finished June with $17.9 million in cash and no debt.
