Fisher & Paykel Healthcare (ASX:FPH) announced it detected unauthorised and unlawful access to two employee email accounts along with a subset of corporate files.
The security event stands in stark contrast to broader cyber disruptions, as no patient databases, core manufacturing systems, or supply chain logistics suffered interference.
"There has been no impact to the company's products, manufacturing operations or supply chain, and its ability to supply and support customers and patients continues uninterrupted," stated Fisher & Paykel Healthcare in an official market disclosure.
The group noted that some accessed files contained personally identifiable information and confirmed it is currently notifying affected individuals alongside relevant authorities.
The medical device manufacturer confirmed it found no evidence of ransomware or malware and expects no material impact on its overall operations or financial performance.
Following the announcement, the Fisher & Paykel Healthcare share price was down at $39.74.
