First Super names Michael McQueen investment head

Share

Industry superannuation fund First Super has appointed Michael McQueen as its new head of investments, effective July 1.

McQueen steps into the role permanently, succeeding Chris Artis, who had been managing the portfolio on an interim basis.

Bringing a wealth of experience from senior investment positions at Prime Super and Media Super, McQueen’s expertise spans portfolio strategy, asset allocation, and investment governance.

The key appointment stabilises the fund's investment leadership following a period of transition, which began with the resignation of former CEO Bill Watson in January.
