First Graphene acquires MITO to expand US footprint

Share

First Graphene (ASX:FGR) announced a binding agreement to acquire all assets, intellectual property, product lines, and manufacturing capabilities of US-based MITO Material Solutions.

The transaction establishes an immediate direct-to-market commercial platform in the United States, delivering instant revenue streams alongside a growth pipeline consisting of more than 25 high-value clients currently in late-stage product testing across various industrial sectors.

By integrating MITO’s proprietary suite of specialised product lines—specifically E-GO, LIGRA, OMEGA, and DELTA—First Graphene broadens its core technology platform beyond standard high-performance graphene powders and dispersions.

The acquisition introduces high-value functionalised graphene technologies, thermosets, thermoplastics, composite materials, protective coatings, and advanced nanomaterial additives to its commercial matrix.

The deal strengthens First Graphene’s exposure to rapidly emerging US defence and aerospace opportunities, where graphene-enhanced technologies are increasingly sought after to enhance structural integrity, thermal properties, and overall operational performance.

When combined with First Graphene's existing, world-class PureGRAPH product lines, the consolidation creates one of the most comprehensive and advanced graphene portfolios globally.

The newly expanded capability allows the company to functionalise graphite, graphene, and graphene oxide for high-end applications.
