FireFly Metals (ASX:FFM) reported new high-grade copper and gold intersections at its Green Bay Project, including an intercept of 11.5m at 11.1% copper and 2.1 grammes per tonne gold.
The recent drilling programme follows previous exploratory work at the Canadian site, aiming to demonstrate the quality of high-grade zones ahead of operations.
The company stated that the latest drilling data will be incorporated into an updated mineral resource estimate to underpin economic studies.
The latest assays feature multiple high-grade intervals, such as 18.9m at 8.2% copper equivalent and 13.5m at 11.1% copper equivalent from separate holes.
The infill drilling results are expected to form part of the production profile for the early years of a Green Bay restart.
Following the announcement, the FireFly Metals share price was down at $1.85.
