Felix Gold begins US antimony extraction operations

Share

Brisbane-based critical minerals explorer Felix Gold (ASX:FXG) announced the commencement of extraction activities at its high-grade antimony project located in the United States.

The company has transitioned from exploration to active extraction at the site.

The milestone marks an operational pivot for the company as it seeks to capitalise on the rapidly growing global demand for antimony—a critical metalloid heavily utilised in defence technology, clean energy storage, and flame retardants.

The location of the project within the United States is expected to position Felix Gold as a crucial domestic supplier in North America, addressing severe supply chain vulnerabilities and the ongoing geopolitical push to secure critical mineral sources outside of traditional dominant markets.

While specific production targets and resource estimates remain under close review, the commencement of extraction represents a major de-risking event for shareholders.
