The Met Gala is the museum's biggest annual fundraiser, this year raising $42 million to help fund exhibits, pay curators, and preserve paintings, sculptures and one of the largest fashion archives in the world. Bloomberg The Weekend was the first to see the exhibit and the new gallery in a private tour with MET Director and CEO Max Hollein.
