Evergold Minerals (ASX:EG1) launched its highly anticipated 2026 exploration campaign, commencing reverse circulation drilling at the Mt Monger Gold Project.
Located approximately 70km southeast of Kalgoorlie in Western Australia's premier Eastern Goldfields, the 3,000-metre programme marks the beginning of the company’s most active exploration phase to date since acquiring the project in August 2025.
The drilling initiative prioritises two distinct and highly compelling target types simultaneously.
Operations have begun at the Duchess of York prospect to follow up on significant historical high-grade intercepts, which previously yielded results including 3m at 17.6 g/t Au from 13m and 9m at 5.02 g/t Au from 26m.
The campaign will test the newly defined Gladiator prospect, an intrusion-related gold target supported by an extensive 800-metre-plus coherent gold-in-soil anomaly and a coincident gravity feature.
Evergold Director Glenn Grayson highlighted that a year of systematic groundwork—encompassing a $5.23 million capital raise, high-resolution ground gravity surveys, a Fleet Space Technologies mineralogy study, and regional geochemistry—has directly informed this programme.
Concurrent field mapping is also underway to further advance geological understanding across the broader project area.
The entire 3,000-metre drilling programme is scheduled for completion by the end of May, with assay results expected to be returned within six to eight weeks.
At the time of reporting, Evergold Minerals’ share price was $0.023.
