  • EV Resources reported initial metallurgical testwork results achieving up to 78.6% antimony recovery.
  • The testwork produced a concentrate grading 68.3% antimony, supporting the company's regional processing hub strategy.
  • The company aims to process third-party ore from regional sources using existing flotation circuits at its Tecomatlán plant.

EV Resources (ASX:EVR) has delivered testwork results from its Vinatas Project, achieving up to 78.6% antimony recovery and producing a 68.3% concentrate.

The metallurgical results follow previous testing on Chinantla ore, offering additional support for a centralised processing strategy in Mexico.

EV Resources Interim CEO Miguel Barahona said, “Achieving flotation recoveries of up to 78.6%, together with the production of a high-grade 68.3% Sb concentrate through subsequent gravity upgrading, is highly encouraging.”

Follow-up flotation testing recorded a 75.8% antimony recovery rate, while secondary treatment with a Wilfley shaking table upgraded the concentrate to 68.3% stibnite with 4.36% silica.

Following the announcement, the EV Resources share price was unchanged at $0.0040.

The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding in May covering potential third-party antimony supply pathways.

EV Resources continues to evaluate feedstock sources to supply its processing plant infrastructure.
