Euroz Hartleys (ASX:EZL) appointed Alan Logan as CEO effective Oct. 26 ahead of its planned transaction with BMO Financial Group.

The decision restructures top leadership as the business refocused its operations towards wealth management services.

"This important appointment reflects our new pure-play focus on the growth and optimisation of our well-established private wealth business," said Euroz Hartley's outgoing executive chairman Andrew McKenzie.

Co-founder Jay Hughes returns to the board as non-executive chairman, while directors Robin Romero and Fiona Kalaf will retire upon completion of the transaction.

Following the announcement, the Euroz Hartleys share price was unchanged at $1.32.

The board restructure aligns leadership responsibilities with the company's corporate transition alongside strategic partner BMO Financial Group.

Remaining directors Andrew McKenzie and Tim Bunney will transition into full-time roles with partner firm BMO Financial Group.
