Communications software firm Etherstack (ASX:ESK) appointed US executive Ryan Burchnell, who brings 30 years of experience, as Group COO.
The appointment comes as the company seeks to expand its international operations and operational scalability across global markets.
"Ryan's appointment reflects both the increasing scale of our global business and our commitment to continuing to strengthen our executive leadership capability," said Etherstack CEO David Deacon.
Burchnell previously served as Chief Operating Partner at Hughes Fire Equipment and held executive roles at telecommunications carrier AT&T.
Following the announcement, the Etherstack share price was unchanged at $0.51.
Management stated that North America remains a key strategic region offering long-term growth opportunities for broadband communications.
The business continues executing its strategy to grow 3GPP mission-critical communications services for government and critical infrastructure customers worldwide.
