EOS launches combined defence business in Paris
Electro Optic Systems (ASX:EOS) is set to launch its newly combined EOS and MARSS business this week at the Eurosatory Defence and Security Exhibition in Paris.
The defence contractor revealed that geopolitical instability, specifically ongoing conflicts in Europe and the Middle East, has driven customer enquiry levels to sustained highs.
Prospective buyers are heavily focusing on advanced technologies, including remote weapon systems, high-energy laser weapons, MARSS NiDAR Command and control systems, and specialised capabilities from EOS Space Systems.
To capitalise on this soaring global demand, EOS has relocated the MARSS headquarters to Nice, France, establishing a strategic operational base designed to expand its European presence over the next three years.
Since finalising the acquisition, EOS has actively supported MARSS in securing new sales orders and streamlining operations to maximise product delivery through 2026 and 2027.
The current MARSS order book features high-profile customer projects dedicated to deploying sophisticated counter-drone systems.
The defence frameworks integrate MARSS NiDAR Command and Control systems alongside advanced supporting sensors, such as radar, and highly effective counter-drone missile system effectors.
